In a collision of electronic music bravery, Prismo and Elle Vee have joined forces for a gripping single titled “Ignite.”
“Ignite” arrives via Lost In Dreams, a label launched by Insomniac to focus on future bass, melodic dubstep and electronic pop music. It’s the first single in two years for the versatile Prismo, whose brushstrokes are as fluid and formidable as ever.
Serenaded by a dark, sultry guitar riff, the production of “Ignite” slowly burns until an electrifying drop sets in with a gripping bass patch. It’s here that the intensity of the track’s lyrical elements aligns with its heart-pounding sound design, exploring the difficulties of rekindling the spark of a seedy relationship with a partner.
“‘Ignite’ began as a love song about my desire to periodically boost the sense of ‘pursuit’ in my relationship,” Prismo said in a press release. “All relationships naturally have their ups and downs, and it’s an electrifying feeling to rekindle and remind my partner of the foundations of love and attraction that brought us together. This song is really meant to spark that exciting rush and rekindling a relationship instead of just going through standard romantic moves.”

“Prismo’s manager Anthony sent my manager a bunch of WIPs and I immediately resonated with ‘Ignite,'” Elle Vee adds. “Prismo had an amazing production and such catchy melodic lines. We suggested I add a few elements to it, and then it all came together. I can’t say enough how great Prismo and his team were with who to work with. I think we have a hybrid soul, crossover EDM, pop anthem here. Welcome, Prismo!”
